- Physical Therapist Assistant
Amy obtained her degree in 2016 as a physical therapist assistant from Mount Washington College. She has also been a practicing licensed massage therapist since 2011. This has given her a strong manual therapy background and motivated her to pursue a better-rounded career in physical therapy. She has completed a variety of massage therapy courses with an emphasis on treatment of the cervical spine and sports therapy. She has studied in depth and takes a special interest in performing myofascial release which drives her to incorporate a whole body approach to treatment. She also has training in vestibular and balance disorders, core stabilization, and kinesiology taping. She loves to educate her patients on proper body mechanics in order to help them perform daily activities with more ease. Amy always likes to create a fun-loving environment within the work place. In her down time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, being active, and refurbishing old furniture.
